When I think of my childhood a smile appears on my face. My childhood was filled with ease and joy. Since the early years of my childhood I loved to spent my time outdoors. My parents used to take me for long walks to nearby forests and fields. I loved to admire nature and to pick various flowers, especially dandelions which I loved to blow off every time I encountered them.
Apart from long walks, I loved to play various sports and ride a bike. My first bike was red and had two white baskets. My parents say that I rode the bike at full speed and no one could ever catch me. Very often, I used to go for bike rides with my older cousin.
Among the sports that I loved rollerblading was the closest to my heart (and remained up to now). I used to rollerblade as often as I could.
When I was a bit older I decided to become a scout, which became one of my hobbies. However, I treated it very seriously. In fact, I had to attend regular meetings and fulfill many duties which were assigned to me. The best aspect of being a scout was that we used to go on various trips all over Poland. This experience taught me to be tough and to survive in harsh conditions.
( I'm the one at the very right hand side )
When I continue thinking about my childhood another thing pops into my head- namely holidays!! At least twice a year I used to go on vacation with my family. During summers we used to visit The Baltic Sea and in winters we used to visit The Tatra Mountains.
Good old days gone by....

Without music life would be a mistake. ~Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
Music has always played an enormous role in my life. To be honest, I just cannot imagine my life without music. My taste in music was changing throughout my life. At this point in my life, I can honestly say that my taste in music is fixed and won't change. I love contemporary style of music, such as techno, trance, and house. This is the music I listen and dance to when I want to have a good time!
I attatch two songs that I listen to now, enjoy!

A stand to end male guardianship in Saudi Arabia
I've come accross a very optimistic article and I've decided to share it with you.....
Women in Saudi Arabia started "The Saudi Arabia Movement", which aims at ending male guardianship over women. The women in Saudi Arabia demand equal rights, including the right to vote, drive, work, study, marry, or travel. Up to now, the women need their husband's, father's, brother's, or son's permission even to have access to health care. The movement started as a Facebook and Twitter page. The women decided to end their daily suffering by registering for the upcoming elections, which take part in September. No wonder they were turned away, as women in Saudi Arabia cannot take part in the elections. Eventhough they were denied participation, the women made a stand for equal rights. Let's hope that one day women in Saudi Arabia will not be treated as property owned by men.

Book I grew up with...
When I think about my childhood I can easily recall plenty of books my parents used to read to me and the ones that I read myself. However, one particular book pops into my head: " Ten Obcy" ( 'That alien' in English ) which I read in my primary school. Without any trouble I can recall the whole plot of the book as I read it several times and absolutely loved it! The book is written by Irena Jurgielewiczowa and describes a group of teens who face problems connected with growing up. The action of the book takes place in a small village- Olsztyn during summer holidays.
The main characters: Ula, Pestka, Julek and Marian are best friends who create their own meeting place on an island near their homes. They do a hut and set poles to access it easily as they meet there regularly. One day a mesterious boy appears on the island...It turns out that the boy is injured and the group of friends takes care of him. The whole book is full of action, secrets, and problems that characters have to face. Not only does it fascinate but it also stretches imagination. I absolutely recommend the book to those of you who haven't read it yet!

Home, sweet home....constantly on the move!
Gosh, it's so hard for me to write about the place where I'm actually living. The thing is that I don't have one place where I'm staying right now. I'm torn apart between Pobiedziska and Buk. In Pobiedziska I live with my mother and my sister, while in Buk, my home town, I live with my other half :-) Well...you can say that the first half of each week I spend in Pobiedziska and the other one in Buk. That's why I feel like I'm constantly on the move! I'm endlessly packing and unpacking my bags. Hmmm....I hope I will settle down one day. But for now, that's how things are.
In Pobiedziska I live in a colorful apartment, in which I even have my own room! It is small, but the thing that matters is that it is my own room. Although I've been living here for 6 years I don't know the city that well. I guess it is so because I love my home town and no other city will ever satisfy me so much! You probably wonder what is so special about Buk...well...it's even hard for me to explain it but I will try my best. Surely, there aren't many places where young people can socialize, such as cinemas or pubs. However, there is one popular pub which satisfies young people living there. I guess that it is the atmosphere that I adore so much. The city is quite small, most people know each other and for this reason I do not feel as alienated as I do in Poznan. What I also love about Buk are its beautiful views of meadows, fields, forests, and streams besides which I used to grow up.
In the future, I will definitely want to live in Buk or on its outskirts:-)

What an amazing story!
Recently, I have come across this incredible video! I've been thinking about it a lot....One thing is on my mind: how is the man capable of changing his voice and sounding like a different person?! Is it really possible to learn it?
